The Scottish Heritage Society of Eastern North Carolina, Incorporated, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to the perpetuation and enjoyment of the history and culture of Scotland handed down to her descendants in Eastern North Carolina and to support of activities of an educational nature which promote and enhance our common Scottish heritage.

The purposes of the organization are:

1. To foster Scottish tradition, customs and culture.
2. To acquire and dispense charitable and educational assistance through a fund set up to underwrite worthy projects and scholarships, including grants to individuals and groups.
3. To promote, celebrate and commemorate Scottish events.

Becoming a member

A note on the tartan used on this site. This is the Carolina Tartan, adopted as the State Tartan by the North Carolina legislature in 1991 and by the South Carolina legislature in 2002. For more information on this tartan please go to this website.
